Largest Continent and Most Populous – That’s Asia

Asia’s is one the continent in the world that has almost 60% of the human population all over the world. And with that perecentage, among other continents, this is considered as the largest and populous  of them all. Right before I have made a thorough research on how big Asia is, there I realized that I know not all about this continent.

Asia is composed of 48 known states and countries in the United Nation and below are the regions.

1. Southern Asia
2. Central Asia
3. Southeastern Asia
4. Western Asia
5. Eastern Asia

It’s really nice to know that from time to time we will be able to know a little something about the place we are in. This widens our knowledge on geography and new things are learned in this fascinating continent.

Here are quick facts on certain parts of the Asian countries.

The largest city in all Asia’s country is Tokyo which is in Japan.

• China, Kazakhstan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and India are the five largest nations in Asia.
• Most of the deserts are found in Asia to name a few these are Gobi Desert, The Arabian Desert, Kara Kum, Thar Desert and more.
• Did you know that the highest mountain that stands for 29,028 feet is in the Himalaya Mountains and is the famous Mount Everest, this is in Asia.

Here’s another great idea, 30 percent of the Earth area measures for Asia’s total land area. Traveling around the world is fun and be sure to know a little something about the place you are going to enjoy much of that place.
